I just came back from San Francisco and saw this announcement from Yahoo’s Search Blog about the new generation of Yahoo local. I wish I had used that when I where there. I think it is really great and just keep getting better (although I miss the satellite view option that Google has). Now you can browser your own neighborhood and look for the best gelateria, pizza or valet parking etc, and it gets even better, users can now also write their reviews about the place which are shown in a note tip when hovering or clicking on a reviewed place. It think is going to become very big because localization is the thing and Yahoo is going to make even more revenues. Oh, did I mention that it has RSS as well? Keyword: Local
