Net Jacobsson is an Israeli/Swedish entrepreneur, marketer & business development executive with many strings on his harp. Net was until recently Director of International Business Development at Facebook where he led Facebook’s international expansion and mobile business development. Before he joined facebook he was a partner and SVP at the China-based browser company Maxthon, invested in by Google 2006. Net also had his own company Mashup Media Ltd, an advisory for startups, investors and companies. Prior to that he ran international business development at ICQ, an AOL company.
Net also has a past from Ericsson Mobile Communications (now SonyEricsson) in Sweden where he worked on consumer behavior and interactive design. Net is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, the social & real-time web, innovation and often consulted by companies and venture capitalist for his unique international perspective on consumer Internet. Net has a Master of Psychology from Lund University, Sweden.
